So what exactly is the Paleo Diet??? Basically you eat whole, unprocessed foods, i.e. meat, fish, veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds, little starch, no refined sugar. I like to say if you can’t shoot it or grow it, you probably shouldn’t eat it (for the most part). The foundation of my diet and lifestyle is primarily paleo (plus rice and dairy) but I am not a fan of preaching a one-lifestyle-fits-all-cookie-cutter dogma. Everyone is unique and what works best for me doesn't necessarily work best for you and vice versa. I definitely recommend paleo as a great starting point and cutting out as much processed food and refined sugar from your everyday diet as possible. However, an occasional indulgence is not the end of the world and just as highly recommended (unless you have very specific dietary restrictions otherwise harmful to your health!), not just for your tastebuds, but also for your sanity and for your friends' alike! No one likes a hangry friend lol, y'all feelin me? :D
